Terms of Service

Effective July 23, 2026

1. Agreement and account holder

These Terms of Service govern access to GRID, a soccer video coaching and player-development service operated by GRID Sports LLC (“GRID,” “we,” “us,” or “our”). By creating an account, accepting these terms during checkout, or using GRID, you agree to these terms.

The person creating and managing an account must be at least 18 years old and able to enter into a binding agreement. If a player is a minor, a parent or legal guardian must create or authorize the account, supervise its use, and consent to the player information and video being submitted to GRID. Coaches may join only through an authorized GRID invitation.

2. The GRID service

GRID provides player Lockers, private video submission, coach assignment, written and recorded coaching feedback, development goals, account notifications, and subscription management. Features and limits may depend on the active plan or an evaluation access grant.

Coaching feedback is educational and informational. GRID does not guarantee selection, recruitment, scholarships, performance outcomes, or injury prevention, and it does not provide medical advice. Players remain responsible for following qualified medical guidance and safe training practices.

3. Accounts and security

You must provide accurate information, keep account credentials confidential, and promptly notify us of suspected unauthorized access. You are responsible for activity under your account and for ensuring that any player using an adult-managed account follows these terms. You may not share coach or administrative access, impersonate another person, or bypass access controls.

4. Subscriptions, introductory pricing, and taxes

Paid GRID subscriptions are billed monthly through Stripe. The current price, any first-invoice offer, applicable taxes, renewal cadence, and total due are shown before purchase in Stripe Checkout. By subscribing, you authorize Stripe to charge the selected payment method at checkout and automatically on each renewal date until the subscription is canceled.

You can manage payment details, view invoices, and schedule cancellation through the Stripe Customer Portal linked from GRID. Unless checkout states otherwise, cancellation takes effect at the end of the current paid billing period and does not refund charges already paid. Taxes may be calculated from billing and location information. Stripe, not GRID, stores complete card details.

5. Evaluation access

GRID may grant a player limited, no-card evaluation access. The grant expires on the date shown in the player’s account and does not automatically become a paid subscription or charge a payment method. A player may subscribe before or after the evaluation ends. Evaluation access may be extended, ended, or revoked by GRID when reasonably necessary, including for misuse.

6. Coach referrals, compensation, and manual payouts

Eligible coaches may receive service commissions and referral residuals under the compensation policy shown in GRID. Current-month amounts are estimates and are not available for payout until GRID finalizes the applicable statement. Eligibility depends on the policy effective for the relevant month, qualifying submitted feedback, paid player-subscription status, referral timing, and any later refund, credit, dispute, or correction. GRID may change commission tiers, basis amounts, residual terms, payout minimums, or availability prospectively by publishing or activating a future policy; finalized historical statements remain subject to documented corrections and reversals rather than silent rewriting.

Referral codes may be used only for genuine referrals and may not be used deceptively, sold, spammed, or represented as giving the coach access to a player. Referral attribution does not itself create a coach-player assignment or authorize access to a player’s Locker, video, contact information, or feedback.

Coach payouts are processed manually, outside Stripe. A coach must provide accurate PayPal or US bank-transfer details and is responsible for maintaining a destination they are authorized to use. GRID may place a request or account on hold to verify eligibility, prevent fraud, correct an error, or investigate a failed or returned payment. A payout is complete only after GRID records external confirmation. Coaches remain responsible for their own tax reporting and legal obligations associated with compensation; GRID does not provide tax advice.

7. Player content and permissions

You retain ownership of videos, profile materials, notes, and other content you submit. You grant GRID a limited, non-exclusive license to host, copy, process, transcode, stream, and display that content only as needed to operate, secure, support, and improve the service and deliver authorized coaching.

You confirm that you have the rights and permissions needed to upload each video and to permit GRID, assigned coaches, and authorized administrators to process it. This includes obtaining appropriate permission for identifiable minors, teammates, opponents, spectators, clubs, venues, music, or other protected material appearing in a submission. Do not upload content you are not authorized to share.

8. Acceptable use

You may not use GRID to break the law; violate another person’s privacy or intellectual-property rights; upload malicious, abusive, discriminatory, exploitative, or unlawful material; probe or disrupt the service; scrape or resell the service; or access another user’s Locker, video, feedback, or account without permission. GRID may remove content or restrict access when reasonably necessary to protect users, the service, or legal rights.

9. GRID property

GRID and its licensors own the service, software, branding, interface, and materials supplied by GRID or its coaches, excluding player content. Your subscription gives you a limited, personal, non-transferable right to use the service while your account is authorized. No GRID materials may be copied, published, sold, or used to build a competing service without written permission.

10. Availability and third-party services

GRID relies on service providers such as Stripe for player billing, PayPal or banking providers used for manual coach payouts, hosting and database providers, video storage and streaming providers, and email-delivery providers. Their services may occasionally be unavailable. We may maintain, modify, or discontinue features and will take reasonable steps to communicate material changes that affect paid use.

11. Suspension and termination

You may stop using GRID at any time and may cancel a paid subscription through the billing portal. We may suspend or terminate access for nonpayment, material violation of these terms, security risk, unlawful conduct, or harm to GRID or others. Provisions that by their nature should continue—including payment obligations, ownership, disclaimers, and limits of liability—survive termination.

12. Disclaimers and liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, GRID is provided “as is” and “as available.” We do not promise uninterrupted or error-free operation. To the maximum extent permitted by law, GRID Sports will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, lost opportunities, lost profits, or loss of data arising from use of the service.

To the maximum extent permitted by law, GRID Sports LLC’s total liability for claims relating to the service will not exceed the amount you paid GRID during the 12 months before the event giving rise to the claim. These limitations do not exclude liability that cannot legally be excluded or limited, and they do not reduce any non-waivable consumer rights.

13. Changes and contact

We may update these terms as the service or law changes. We will post the revised effective date and provide additional notice when required. Continued use after an update takes effect means you accept the revised terms; if you do not agree, stop using GRID and cancel any subscription.

Questions about these terms may be sent to support@grid-sports.com.
